After crafting, you want to right click while the Research Book is in your hand to bind to it. This is your Ancient Warfare guide of information, research, and management, in your hand!

(Research Station, Engineering Station, Drafting Station, Vehicle Engineering Station, Ammo Production Station, NPC Recruitment Center, Alchemy Station, and AutoCrafting Station). Each have its role in managing your Ancient Warfare.
Research Station Crafting Receipe
Good. Now, let us go ahead and craft Research Station. Research will be the life-blood of your Ancient Warfare kingdom. This unlock your ability to craft different things as well as your NPC kingdom workers or military unit, should you ever want the kingdom to progess automatically without your intervention.
After placing the Research Station down, Right Click to enter the Research Station GUI. You want to place the Research Book in the upper right slot. This will reveals all list of crafting receipes found in the Research tab.
For researching Civilian Engineering 2, for example, some research must be studied before hand, like Civilian

Engineering 1, before progessing in some point. What research you needs depend on what are you trying to make or add in your Ancient Warfare kingdom.
